About Us

We're the Lowenberg Family.

We are a farm family of seven that resides in rural Southeast Iowa. Kurt and I (Ashley) have five beautiful children that keep us on our toes. Each one of them has helped care for our puppies whether it’s helping herd them for vaccinations, pictures, interacting with them, feeding/watering them, and loving them. Kurt farms full time with a row crop and swine production operation while Ashley works for a large agriculture equipment manufacturer. We are active members in our church and local community with coaching our kids’ sports.

Meet the Dogs

Sullivan

Olde English Sheepdog

Sullivan is an adorable, smart, loyal teddy bear. He loves each one of the kids and falls over and gets on his back as soon as anyone is close enough to give him a belly rub. If he doesn’t fall over, he is pawing at you to get you to pet him. He reminds us of Max off of the Little Mermaid. Always happy and excited to see us and loves to play after a good belly rub. Sully and Veda are the best of friends and we often find them rough housing each other.
Veda

Goldendoodle

Veda is our ball of energy, who is an amazing momma. She is also adorable and smart. She jumps with excitement whenever she sees us and loves a good belly rub when Sully isn’t looking. As soon as he realizes she’s getting the extra attention, he comes running to take over. Veda has had two litters of puppies. The first litter consisted of thirteen and the second twelve. She has great motherly intuition and always impresses us with her strength and dedication to her puppies.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Olde English Goldendoodle?

This breed is a three way cross of the Olde English Sheepdog, the Golden Retriever, and the Poodle. This breed yields characteristics that offer a fun, loving, loyal and playful companion. One trait that really stands out in this breed is their loyalty. Our families that have puppies from previous litters rave about their temperaments. We have had two puppies serve in a local elementary as therapy dogs. Be sure to check out our pictures to see them being a companion that all the students have grown to love!

Does this breed shed?

The Olde English Goldendoodle is low shedding.

Is this breed good with kids?

YES! All our puppies are exposed to kids the minute they are born. The first two weeks are painful as we do not touch them unless we absolutely have to allow the mom to use her motherly intuition and for health reasons. This breed is a loyal, loving, playful companion that is fantastic for family with kids.

What vaccinations will the puppies have?

We follow our local veterinarian's recommendations for vaccinations. We administer all vaccinations ourselves. Puppies visit the vet prior to going to their new home for a final health check. In addition to vaccinations, we also remove dewclaws and administer wormer.

Can puppies be shipped?

They can. We have not had to do this yet so it would be a learning experience but we would be happy to accommodate and learn!

How old are the puppies when they are ready to go to their new home?

Our puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age.

How big does the Olde English Goldendoodle get?

We have found most of our puppies from Sullivan and Veda to be between 55-70 pounds.
